Burial of Mutti’s Ashes

On August 10th, we went to the Unitarian Church and had a small ceremony to bury Mutti’s ashes. The ministers who performed the memorial service also were there with us to bury the ashes. We had not done this ceremony because Chando was away and we wanted for her to be part of this important moment.
These photos are of the burial place; it’s a lovely place on the side of the Unitarian Church. Debbie, Mutti’s daughter and Manfred, Mutti’s husband are buried there as well.
On Christmas Eve we went back to the Church as we regularly did with Mutti. This is the view that Mutti had on that day:
And this is the little video I took as the balloons we had for Mutti, along with the notes that each one of us wrote for her, flew away into the sky…
During Mutti’s memorial service it rained a lot; during the burial of the ashes ceremony it was very windy. Yep, tit was it if Mutti’s spirit was with us; that same spirit full of energy and enthusiasm.
