On August 10th, we went to the Unitarian Church and had a small ceremony to bury Mutti’s ashes. The ministers who performed the memorial service also were there with us to bury the ashes. Mutti will always have a pretty view
On top of the Berkeley Hills are Mutti’s ashes. She will always contemplate the beautiful view of the Bay Area – a view of the Golden Gate Bridge. She’s sharing this view with her daughter and husband… All of us laid a flower on the ground for Mutti; Valentina opted to place her flower standing up.
