Alex has been one of the most confident, professional and able instructors that we have had in ILB in many years. She has taken her role very seriously, and has worked behind the scenes to write and mark exams, has come up with a solid training programme, delivered it in a very slick style and has looked after her first year students with compassion, attention to detail, a fun sense of humour and a permanently helpful manner. She is a fine teacher. To top all that she is one of the best boat drivers we have had in years, full of confidence in her abilities, and a sound judge of the conditions. We will miss her greatly.
