¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡Ya escuchó de la primera escuela Chando!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Esta mañana recibió la noticia que Bowdoin la ha aceptado.
Pues ya puede dormir tranquila puesto que ya tiene paloma en mano. A ver qué dicen las otras escuelas a las que solicitó.
Este es el mensaje que nos envió:
ME ACEPTARON EN BOWDOIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Esta mañana cuando me iba al desayuno vi un paquete de Bowdoin en mi caja de cartas. Nadie más solicitó a Bowdoin, y vi que era para mí.Después de la carta general, escribieron a mano algo parecido-
“Alexandra-
You gave us a wonderful essay about your father. Well done. Hope you will bring your talents to Bowdoin. Scott Meiklejohn”Ahora a esperar a que las otras escuelas me dejen saber. Pero…. tengo mi safety!!!!!!!
Y además, escriben… ” We are still in the process of selecting more candidates who will be invited to join you in the next entering class. It is our hope that this early notification will provide you with additional time to consider Bowdoin, and to plan for participation in a number of special events scheduled for the month of April.” ….Ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tal vez a ustedes, igual que a mí les haya tocado buscar en los intertubes más info sobre este colegio. Confieso que antes de que Chando solicitara ni tenía idea que existiera. Bueno, acá les va esta info que encontré sobre el ranking del colegio.
El paquete que le ofrecen a Chando está muy bien; básicamente, le proporcionarían el costo de la matrícula. Parece ser que Chando va a poder invitar a su tata a comerse una langosta aunque sea una vez por año. 😉
Se ve chévere la misión de la escuela y como dije antes, esto debe darle a Chando confianza y un sentimiento de que ha valido la pena todo el trabajo que ha hecho hasta ahora.

Bueno Companero Poeta alli esta nada mas y nada menos lo que ustedes han formado, asies que a contratar a alguien para que le venga hacer unos ajustes a la puerta de su casa, la tienen que hacer mas grande por que a usted no le caben las nalgas de orgulloso que se siente……. Se le quiere y aprecia bastante por todo su apoyo! En verdad, leer sus comentarios me ha puesto una sonrisa enorme en la cara. He recibido otro correo de Wesleyan diciendome que el si o el no me llegara este fin de semana, igual que Middlebury. Hay veremos. Aunque Bowdoin lo considere mi “safety” es una escuela estupenda, que no merece ser el safety de nadie. (Pasa que hablando de puntos del IB, si es un safety para mi).
