Mutti y su sonrisa sempiterna
Here is Mutti about two months after she was diagnosed with stage four cancer. I look at this photo and I can clearly see her strength. A few of us would look so radiant and poised while confronting what Mutti was going through since February of last year. This is the image I will always have of Mutti.
I loved her strength, her independence, her generosity, her vibrant smile…
I miss her so much!
I feel that I lost a mother not just a mother-in-law.

You feel you lost a mother and not a suegra because Mutti WAS your other mother. We miss her and love her too. She is a phenomenal woman who continues to inspire us all and demonstrates how to love unconditionally.
