Art show for my mom

Thank you to all of you who came to Elke’s art show! It was so nice to see your faces and feel your support. It is in these moments when we realize how much love is around us. Some people were not able to attend but were with us in spirit. And thanks to Jennie Delbanco and family for sending the lovely bouquet for the occasion. We are still enjoying it.

Elke made it to the show but had to leave early. She was very happy to see so many of you there even though she didn’t get to talk to everyone. At this time she is remaining stable but has a lot of pain for which she takes medication regularly. She isn’t up to going out much and drives a limited amount.

She has some good days when she may run an errand or two but she gets tired easily and she often gets short of breath. Despite all that she is keeping her spirits up and paints occasionally at home. Thanks again for all of your messages.
