Young women aren’t giving each other “dating
tips” anymore. They’re telling each other to
decenter men and advising each other to
prepare for a life without them. I think that’s a
big deal, hugely different vibe than when I was in
my twenties.

Gen Z women don’t give each other the advice to
“keep putting themselves out there.” The tone is
more, “holy shit, why make yourself available to
such constant degradation? To what end? Look
at Millennials. They’re financially imbricated to
couch barnacles.” Such a vibe shift.
