The two suegras – Menita and Mutti

I asked Mutti if there was something that she would like to share with the whole world (all of you) and without hessitation, she said:

I’m eating again!

So there you have it! 😉

She’s still not having any chemo treatment; her issue with the intestine needs to heal before she starts up again. At the moment she’s started eating and long gone are the days of liquids-only diet! Yay! She’s now in an unusual situation that she’s eager to add some fat to her body! Liza has graciously offered some of hers. 😉

Mutti is hoping that she will feel well enough tomorrow so that she can go for a couple of hours to the studio. The only outings she’s had recently have been to medical facilities so I’m sure she’s excited to see something more uplifting than the halls of a hospital.

Well, Mutti did go to the studio for a couple of hours this past Sunday. Though she had a good time seeing other people besides us, she was reminded that she’s not ready just yet to go out dancing or enroll in one of those boot-camp-trainings…
At the moment one of the bothersome issues she’s having continues to be with her stomach. Today she joined us for dinner; she even ate the same food as the rest of us. But given that she has continued to experience pain in her stomach, she hesitates to eat solids and wonders if she should stick with soft foods/liquids for the moment…

Today Liza took her to the acupuncturist and that added more light to her smile. Here’s hoping that her stomach will be pain-free soon.
