Art Wall: Barbara Stauffacher Solomon

August 15, 2018–March 3, 2019

The 1960s architectural phenomenon Supergraphics—a mix of Swiss Modernism and West Coast Pop—was pioneered by San Francisco–based artist, graphic and landscape designer, and writer Barbara Stauffacher Solomon. Stauffacher Solomon, a UC Berkeley alumna, is creating new Supergraphics for BAMPFA’s Art Wall. Land(e)scape 2018 is the fifth in a series of temporary, site-specific works commissioned for the Art Wall.
