Liza acaba de actualizar el sitio web de Mutti<\/a>. Es que en estos momentos escribimos, compartimos con todos ustedes para mermar la pena…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parece ser que en unas horas Mutti se ir\u00e1 dejando en nosotros su amor, su generosidad, su inquebrantable ser…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SUNDAY, JANUARY 10, 2010 12:10 PM, PST<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The hospice nurse came for a visit today. They have been here just about everyday over the last week. Elke is struggling to breath, is disoriented, and starting to have visions of things that are not there. The hospice nurse couldn’t get a blood pressure and had a very hard time finding her pulse. Elke is on her way to another place. The nurse was surprised that she was still alive given what she sees. She said her body is gone, it is just her spirit that has yet to let go. She admitted that Elke must be a very strong person to be holding on so long. And through all this, Elke, with her raspy voice, still manages to crack a joke now and then. She admits this is all so weird. She told us to tell the grandchildren that she didn’t want to leave them but she had to. The nurse said she can’t imagine she will be with us much longer. It could be minutes, maybe hours. But we are all so filled with awe at this amazing moment, the passing of a truly great woman. We have all learned so much from her and we will all miss her greatly. Her life, style, art and warmth have been with us for so long. Thank you to all of you for supporting us through this and for your kind messages to her. She has felt your love and we are sure she will take it with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elke Behrens passed away at 4am today. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
