It&#8217;s not an issue of a generation of young people who are not &#8220;listening&#8221; but it&#8217;s an issue of poverty and inequity in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>South Los Angeles has rebuilt itself from the ashes of the &#8217;92 Civil Unrest thanks to residents coming together with community groups to transform their neighborhoods.
